Dienstag, 26. November 2024, 15:00 - 17:00
We are pleased to announce that the next EU CVT Webinar "Children and Young People: Living After a Terrorist Attack" will be organised by France Victimes on Tuesday, 26 November from 15h - 17h (Brussels time).
The session will shine a spotlight on children and young people who have survived or are indirectly impacted by terrorism. Their experiences are often overshadowed by the broader societal response to such events. The trauma they endure - whether psychological, emotional, or physical - can have long-lasting effects that shape their entire future.
The aim of this webinar is to:
-
Examine how terrorism affects children and young people psychologically and emotionally;
-
Share insights on the impact of terrorism not only in the immediate aftermath but also during their developmental years and beyond, including the challenges of growing up after surviving or losing a parent to a terrorist attack;
-
Equip participants with an understanding of supportive actions that can help children and young people rebuild their lives after a terrorist attack.
The webinar will be organised in an interactive, solution-oriented manner. The audience will be invited to actively contribute and share their views and experience.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
Kind regards,
EU CVT team
